What is a Doula?

I am your birth sister, commonly known as a doula. I'm a professional birth worker who provides non-medical support to YOU and YOUR family. As your birth sister I will provide non bias edvidence base information, techniques, support and resources to aid you through pregnancy, labor, and the postpartum period. I WILL also provide tools to help YOU advocate for yourself and baby. Research shows, having a birth sister/doula during your birth reduces the need for medical intervention, reduces the request for pain medication and epidural as well as reduces the incidence of cesareans
